Latest in Technology - E-Toilet

Perhaps, for geeks like us, this is something that you really don’t wanna miss. The e-Toilet, which was unveiled by Bill Gates, if you really can’t let go of surfing the net, even just to spend few minutes in the toilet, this is a must-have. The eToilet lets you surf the net, play music from Zune and it also monitors your personal hygiene by shutting down the lid automatically if left open.

The eToilet includes a 21-inch flat-screen monitor built into the toilet lid itself that swings out on a swivel arm when you are….. in position. Many of its functions are activated by touch, and the eToilet contains a proximity sensor that will protect the screen from spray during use or flushing.

Additionally, the eToilet’s composition gauge will offer web-based dietary recommendations and guidelines based on the physical makeup of the material that is input into the device, and it has a delay mechanism to prevent flushing while someone is in the shower. However, arguably the most intriguing feature of the eToilet is the integration of Microsoft’s patented eLoo technology that allows for the activation of remote call features.

It’ll be out in the market next month, which will retail between $499 to $599. I’m just simply very thankful to Microsoft for taking its best effort to get geeks like us glued to the computer and Internet.

Partyshade

partyshade1 (1)

Well chosen lighting is an important ingredient for every successful party. An interesting and atmospheric by-product of light are its shadows. Our design uses those shadows to create the right ambiance; A 360 degrees skyline of lively people emerges by shadows on the walls.

Phantom Bike: Forkless Cruiser - Finland

Olli Erkkila designed this unusual and amazing bike for his graduation project at the Institute of Design in Lahti, Finland. I love the design. What about you?

Desktop Audio Garden Concept

As far as concepts go this device, known as the Constant Garden, is certainly one of the more fascinating we’ve come across of late in serving not only as an appointments manager capable of reminding you of important meetings but also a ambient background audio device that plays ‘nice garden sounds’ (such as birdsong, we assume) designed to act as a calming influence to lower anxiety in the office as well as remind you that there’s more to life than just work.

Apple Remote But Not By Apple

Are you tired of losing your remotes? Tired of how they seem to clash with your very meticulously arranged IKEA furniture? Then maybe you’d want the Apple Remote, and no it’s not by who you think. Confused? Imagine, every member of the household having their own Apple. Each is a slightly different shade of green so you’ll know who’s who. You can program your own functions to best suit your TV watching needs and should you need to go beyond that, the remote responds to motion gestures. Rotating it left lowers the volume, rotating it right raises it. Best part is they add to your tablescape. The bowl they reside in actually recharges the Apples, err I mean remotes. Just remember to tell guests to lay off. (source: via mail)

The No-Key Keyboard

glass_keyboard01

Glass surface inputting is the new hotness for almost every gadget maker today. From from the iPhone to Microsoft’s Surface technology, flat is where it’s at. Introducing the flattest full size QWERTY keyboard to date, “No-key Keyboard” by Kong Fanwen. Consisting of just a glass surface, camera and lighting, this alternative keyboard concept will use the latest motion capture technology to watch your fingers nervously select just the perfect smiley for your online bantering.

3D Displays from Philips

 3D Display01

Don't count Philips as the first outfit to dream up a 3D display that allowed you to leave the eyewear at home, but it looks like the technology is coming ever closer to the mainstream -- for better or worse. The firm has reportedly developed a 20-inch LCD "designed to increase brand awareness and attention value of products at point-of-sale locations," and is showing off the (literally) eye-popping effects at this week's InfoComm. Of course, this rendition seems to be aimed at businesses rather than consumer applications, but we'd expect to see more where this came from as the WOWvx-equipped lineup expands.

3D Display02

The newest duo consists of a frame-mountable 20-3D2W01 (pictured above) and a more decorated 20-3D2W04 if you're wanting a bezel and stand. As expected, there's no word yet on pricing or availability, but feel free to peep another shot of the third-dimension after the break. (source : engadgetdotcom)

“A watch is a timepiece that is made to be worn on a person. The term now usually refers to a wristwatch, which is worn on the wrist with a strap or bracelet. In addition to the time, modern watches often display the day, date, month and year, and electronic watches may have many other functions.” this is what wikipedia.org has to say about the Watches. But i feel in today’s world the Watch is a Fashion Statement about the person wearing it.
